Team Chequers have taken on another challenge for charity, this time swapping their cosy beds for the hard-concrete floor for one night to raise important funds for homelessness charity Evolve.
Layered up with their sleeping bags in tow, 7 members of our team headed to Box Park Croydon on Sunday 24th March to take part in the organised ‘sleep out’ from 9.30 pm until 6.30 am. Their efforts managed to raise over £1000 for the charity.
Evolve Housing and Support house over 700 homeless people, and most crucially provide services to support each person into positive, independent lives. Every day Evolve support homeless people with everything from life skills, budgeting, mental health to work and education, completely rebuilding their lives for the better.

Our team were joined by over 150 more participants on the night braving the elements, with a collective figure raised of over £45,000! Well done Croydon!
