Congratulations are in order as our June Employee of the Month has been awarded to two members of staff! Marcelo Puruncajas is a cleaning operative in our commercial department and Chris Whitley is a handyman who also works for our joint-venture company Renovo in the Electrical and Building department.
Always a reliable member of the team, Chris has recently stepped in to cover the Handyperson role at some of One Housing’s new Season Schemes. Season is the Senior Living arm of One Housing, committed to providing high quality, affordable homes for residents to enjoy an independent life in, as part of the community.
Marcelo is a valuable asset to Chequers. Not only has he been named Employee of the Month for the second time, he’s also won a WOW Award after being nominated by our client Family Mosaic, for his excellent work on their schemes. Marcelo continues to go above and beyond what is asked of him, taking pride in his work, which has not gone unnoticed by Family Mosaic staff and residents. The WOW Awards are the only independent awards process for great customer service, based purely on customer compliments.
