Whether it be all the vehicles in our fleet, or the machinery used by our Grounds Maintenance Department, it’s clear we have a lot of engines at Chequers.
We’ve recently been looking at how we can use these engines more efficiently, and in a more eco-friendly way.
As part of our commitment to reducing carbon emissions we have begun trialling an innovative new engine detox from Engine CarbonClean.
This process uses the latest in hydrogen technology to help remove the carbon build-up from our engines, improving our miles per gallon and lowering the harmful emissions we produce.
We have been using Aspen Alkylate Petrol with our two stroke and four stroke mowers which has virtually no pollutants.
With this new type of fuel we should be able to mow for 100 hours before reaching the same level of toxic benzene emissions as one hour of mowing with regular petrol.
Aspen Alkylate Petrol contains virtually none of these harmful substances, and is therefore up to 99% cleaner than regular petrol when comparing the level of hazardous hydrocarbons.
