We are thrilled and proud to announce the promotion of two of our valued team members, Alexandra Magalhaes and Marco Silva to the title of Associate Directors.
Both Alexandra and Marco have proved themselves to be crucial members of the Chequers team and we are extremely proud of their achievements.
Alexandra began her career at Chequers in 2009 as a cleaning operative working in a School. Through her upskilling journey with Chequers this allowed her to develop a highly detailed knowledge of our working practices from an operative level up and an in depth understanding of our client’s bespoke needs. Through her hard work and strive to learn new things, a succession of promotions quickly followed including Head of our Educational Contract Department overseeing the successful running of 30 School contracts.
Marco has undergone a similar journey beginning his career as a cleaning operative and working his way up to General Manager before joining Chequers in 2016 as our Commercial Manager. He has over 20 years’ experience within the industry. His experience accumulated from working in different departments has assisted him in obtaining the necessary skills to become highly competent in his role. He has been an influential figure in the shaping of our commercial department overseeing some of our largest cleaning contracts.
We would like to thank Alexandra and Marco for their contribution to the company so far and wish them every success in the next chapter of their journey with Chequers.
